It's been about a week since Valentine's Day. I've read that one cheat day a week is better for weight loss than zero. Maybe you should just eat the whole cake instead.

Good strategy. My wife made a cake for a valentine's baking challenge at her work. I ate 3 pieces on Sunday and haven't had any sweets since. So I think this strategy works.
