I'm a teacher. I use AI extensively. I just made a presentation about AI and gave it to 100 coworkers including my bosses... I got a personal message from the head of the school that night telling me great job. Was approached by almost 10 separate people giving me glowing reviews.
I used zero AI to do that presentation. Why? Because I really cared about it and wanted it perfect.
I write a blog. I put hours into each post. Do I use AI? No. Why? Because I want it to be perfect. I am BETTER than AI. At some things. Like being me. AI hasn't mastered being me yet.
Use AI. I do. But sometimes... When you really want to shine. Don't.
It pays off.

I find AI pretty bad at writing in general. Most of the output sounds weird and stilted. Like its simultaneously trying to lecture me and be my friend. Its a fine writing style for "search results" or "wikipedia", but generally is not something I would want to call my own.
...however AI is useful as a search engine.
