These days we're seeing a lot more social engineering, $5 wrench attacks and kidnappings than ever before (Jameson Lopp has made a list here). A lot of us being aware of this may have set up a very robust cold storage solution like a multisig wallet split and held in multiple jurisdictions. That's all great! No one can take your sats!
Well... the thing is that they still might want to try it, especially when we're buying flying cars from todays zaps!
Which brings me to your home security set up? How are you going about keeping your family and property safe? Do you have an alarm system? Roller shutters on your windows? CCTV cameras around your house?
Also, do you think having a visually secure house with the lot (CCTV cameras, window shutters, steel doors and alarm system) makes it look like more of a target?
NOTE: I know there are a lot of Americans here with guns, but for this post try to imagine that you don't have any. What would you do instead?
My doggos do it for me quite effectively .

You are very right about this. Beyond protecting our economic reserve for the future, our family is our greatest wealth. I believe that the current security systems have many deficiencies, for example, the notification to the authorities and the time they take to respond.

The only threat around here is the cops.
I have experience communicating with them and never have any reason to get into a conflict.
