Maybe its because I live in the US but I havent heard of Bybit and I am pretty surprised at their claims that they are able to just eat the cost of this... According to them they are still whole and this wont cause them to become insolvent. Thats a impressive move if true.

Not sure of the setup here, but lets assume this is an exploit in the ETH protocol. Does that mean the ETH foundation is liable?
