I wonder what the resale value of a geodesic dome is.
Interesting homes fascinate me. When we lived in the city and my daughter was young (still in a stroller) there was this massive crazy angular house at the end of the street from where my wife's doctor was that we often walked past. All those home were 1-2M homes and then this monstrosity that is 5x the size of the other homes but who would buy it?
I'm always intrigued by homes with very idiosyncratic designs. I figure they probably reduce general demand, so you can get a good deal (assuming you like weirdness).

Some developer built an all black metal siding mini mansion down the street from my buddy in Toronto on a huge corner lot. Then he tried to sell it for 3M and it was on the market for a year before it finally sold. Maybe he was building it for himself and then had to sell it for some reason because most developers want to build homes that attract the most possible buyers but this guy was trying to build a house for Batman.
