it's always an honor and a blessing when someone I've photographed before returns for another shoot. It lets me know they were thrilled with their photos, and that makes me incredibly happy.
That's the case with today's photos. I had previously taken photos of the expectant mother with her family, and they loved them so much that they called me again for another session. This time, they wanted me to capture her pregnancy, and it was an honor to be part of such a special moment in their lives.
I took the first photos with her husband. They chose this location because the background art is meaningful to them.
The husband brought some props for the next photo, which turned out beautifully:
To make the shoot easier, I went to their home so the mom would feel more comfortable because she's quite pregnant and can't exert herself too much.
The following photos were with her family. Everyone was adorable and so excited for the babies on the way , yes, babies, plural, because it's twins!
The mom told me there was an area in their home where she'd always wanted to take a photo with her husband, and here's the result:
After that, she changed outfits because we were going to take more photos in their backyard. They had set up a really cool cowboy-themed set.
While she was changing clothes, I took the opportunity to get this shot of her husband:
The cowboy theme is because they have a farm and love the world of cattle and horses.
Then, I started taking photos of the couple, always guiding them with poses:
They wanted to include their dog in a photo, and it turned out absolutely gorgeous!
The next photo is definitely my favorite – it was the husband's idea:

The last photo I took was after we had finished. We were talking casually, and they stood in a spot that looked so lovely. I asked them to pose for a quick shot, and here's how it came out:
