That's the thing, we got an email saying the order is ready but when we got there we still had to wait an hour. My guess is they configured the ready email to send out X minutes after the order rather than based on any real time data or input from the restaurant 

I’ve had that happen with Buffalo Wild Wings (they fry in beef tallow so it makes me feel less sinful) on a Sunday. With most things, I don’t mind a wait. I mostly mind my expectations being violated.

Too many web storefronts don't do any capacity checks. My local wings shop got in big trouble on Super Bowl Sunday because they took too many online orders and couldn't fill them in a timely manner. We waited over an hour from when they said it'd be ready for it to actually be ready and people at the store were getting *pissed*
