I have listened to part of the podcast. I will clarify some points regarding the UEFA Champions League survivor pool :
  • Rebuy will be available for the Round of 16 and QF only. Please notice that there will be 4 weeks in both rounds as both of them have two legs. So, every week you will need to provide a pick. As you have mentioned, if you pick a team in the second leg of the QF, and that team loses, you can still use the rebuy. Rebuys will not be available in any of the SF legs.
  • The pool will run for 7 weeks, meaning you will need to provide a different team each week.
  • Regarding how to assign picks in case of someone missing to provide one, I am happy to assign as you mentioned considering the top seed. For this I will consider how the table finished in the group phase:
  1. Liverpool
  2. Barcelona
  3. Arsenal
  4. Inter
  5. Atleti
  6. Leverkusen
  7. Lille
  8. Aston Villa
Please let me know any other points which are unclear so we can discuss them further. We have plenty of time before the contest starts.
