3.7 is apparently really good on all the benchmarks they picked (and it's already available in the latest version of Cursor btw ... you have to manually select it):
They also release a terminal-based chat tool which on some level competes with Cursor (without Anthropic needing to maintain an IDE):

Saw a tweet where the user called out the "friendliness" of the PM and the engineer in this announcement video -- which they remark positions them in stark contract to OpenAI. They think the "code next door" vibes/marketing will help Claude get more market share. Interesting take.
