I was only legit scammed once in my naive early 20s when I was looking online for new ways to make money (scams always seem to hit when people are desperate, it's what a scammer preys on).
it was a lame online marketing thing and at the time I hadn't seen much copywriting , the hero's journey, and all that so the script worked like a charm on me.
the guy was making all these claims and offering a 5-dollar product and I thought, well what is the worst that can happen, solid risk to reward.
naturally, the 5 dollar product was crap and I forgot all about it, until months later when I was back in Russia and checked my UK bank account and to my horror, it was like negative 100 pounds.
Turns out, there was microscopic fine print that said it was a fiver, and subsequent monthly payments that drained my account.
the worst part is, that I had a debit account with no overdraft facility, so it shouldn't have even been possible.
I learned a good lesson from this, and I have had a very healthy mistrust of gurus online ever since.
i did also fall for a crypto ponzi miner coin called drip on BSC but I knew the risks when going in so don't count it as a full scam.
how about you guys?
Yup I have.

Via text Toll violation scam
Happened a few months ago
I wasn’t thinking and I thought it was my friend who drove my car
But I also noticed that the scam website had strange who is information
And tolls are always sent by paper mail. Tolls are never sent via text message in California
In January I almost fell for a telegram scam. User pretending to be admin. I thought the admin was behaving weird and was very pushy which irritated me lol
