Anyone buying European stocks? Seems like a good bet with the US withdrawing support for Ukraine...
So, who’s most undervalued? Rheinmetall’s sky-high P/E and momentum make it look overvalued unless war escalates dramatically—its intrinsic value may lag its price. BAE Systems and Saab, while solid, seem fairly priced for their growth trajectories. Thales and Leonardo stand out as potentially undervalued: Thales for its tech-driven margins and reasonable premium, and Leonardo for its lower P/E and strong backlog relative to peers. Airbus could be a sleeper pick if defense spending lifts its smaller division more than expected. If I had to rank them, Leonardo edges out Thales for the top spot—its valuation hasn’t caught up to its fundamentals as aggressively, offering more room to grow into an intrinsic value tied to Europe’s defense awakening. That said, this hinges on sustained geopolitical pressure and EU budget execution, both of which remain wild cards.

Welcome!!! Actually i do! I am thinking about buying shares in Skanska. A Swedish construction company that I follow. They pay a small dividend and they don’t grow much so I might lose in real terms but I just like the business and how they operate and work on really cool construction projects. So it would be more of an emotional purchase than a true investment purchase

I'd have to do some research on them but I'm a big fan of investing in stuff you either use all of the time or want to support... (I have a small bag of chipotle for this reason haha)

Me too!! Besides the few experiments I am running I try to invest in companies that fit my world view and that I can hang on to for forever.

I've been paying for ChatGPT forever now and it never occurred to me to buy NVDA 🤦
Actually it did occur to me but they had these really smart sounding idiots on CNBC (Aswath Damodaran) saying it was overvalued at 300.. 400.. 500... etc that kept me out 😢

Yeah Jermey kept me away from Block (square) when it was really cheap! So I know how outside influences can impact your thoughts on a business

Been using Grok pretty frequently to give me superficial understanding of stocks I don't know... what do you think about this analysis of Skanska? Pretty amazing how much work it does in the background using the Deep Search feature to come up with its answers:
