I do see bitcoin and bitcoin related things in more places than I expected like in Dune recently.
I have been CRAWLING through The Dark Forest for about a year with interruptions from a bunch of other books. Just today (about the last 10 or 15% of the book), there was a part that just smacked of bitcoin. I’m hoping to write about it here tomorrow!
I've mostly lost other passions. I used to be very keen on biohacking-ish things, cooking, art, fitness, gardening, etc.
I’m a career musician and have kind of lost the passion because of Bitcoin. I was long past the age when people burn out too. It’s just the ultimate solution to so many macro problems that I thought were totally inexorable.
