I was reading about Sparta, back in the 6th century BC, which made me think of #Bitcoin, although I always do, well, Sparta had a very peculiar economic policy.
✨Spartans had no right to have gold or silver as currency or personal wealth, it was only lawful to have iron coins, and as you can imagine, if a certain amount needed to be transported, a means of transport was necessary for this purpose.
✨The search for riches was viewed with distrust, since the city-state valued military virtues, discipline and loyalty to the community more. This was part of Spartan economic and social policy.
What do you think about this? Maybe for that and more #Bitcoin. History is essential to understanding the present.
