A Filipino student has developed AuREUS, an innovative solar window system that generates electricity even without direct sunlight. Using compounds extracted from decaying fruits and vegetables, this sustainable material absorbs ultraviolet radiation and converts it into energy, working on cloudy days or in the shade. Unlike conventional solar panels, AureUS can be integrated into building windows and walls, offering an efficient, ecological and renewable solution for energy generation.
