This early care and education is crucial for children not only because it allows their parents to participate in the labor force, but also because it boosts their socialization, cognitive development, and school readiness. I'm not sure if 60$ in Lima is expensive, how much is the minimum wage in Peru? In Portugal you pay around 100 euros a month (900 euros minimum wage).
