Short term deal would be optimal. Then you can draft a QB but don’t have to reach and even if you don’t get one this draft, you can get one next draft.
Part of the idea is to get a jump start on free agency and be a more attractive location for the FA's to sign. That makes a lot of sense to me.
It also means they won't be chasing QB's at the start of free agency like the other bad teams from last year. They can start talking to the best guys at other positions before other teams get to them.

Vegas is an attraction

You get out to Vegas much? I made the drive from LA to LV once. Wasn’t as fun as I thought it would be. The next time I was in LA and wanted to make a quick jaunt to Vegas I flew.

rarely, at most once a year
Vegas is overrated unless I'm a first round pick or a franchise tag, then it's perfectly rated
reply
I've only been once, but I found Vegas to be hot, dirty, and expensive.
I'd go back to cover a game for ~Stacker_Sports, though. We just need to grow enough to earn some press credentials.

2025 conference in Vegas, May 27 - 29, after Memorial Day
Any idea which FAs they are targeting?
reply
No. I had mostly been hearing about the QB's and their interest in Higgins.
I would guess they'll try for Lockett or DK, whichever one Pete likes better.
reply
That would make sense since they got Geno.
