Paid $400 for this used industrial sewing machine.

It’s heavy and it took a long time to set up, but it’s supposed to be great at thicker fabrics like denim and leather. It also looks like it should be durable enough to handle decades of use.

Got the bobbin and thread all set up this morning, I’m planning to make a lunch bag today.

I have one too, mine is from Mitsubishi and it can handle a lot of heavy stuff.

Finding one that works that can go through leather is a win! Also, you will be able to patch up all of your demin levis now. Just make sure that there isnt a lot of dust and oil caught up in all the gears and bearings!

I was upholstering an ottoman that I made. I can't find a picture now, but I bought some discard/scrap leather off Ebay and had to cut it up and sew it back together into the right shape.
