Anyone ever used Hodl Hodl?
Feedback?
Thanks
I've used them a number of times.
The main problem I have using them is liquidity -- the ability to find a counterparty promptly and at a fair price. If I am not needing to do a trade right away, I can create an order offer (generally, a Sell offer) and then just wait for a counterparty (i.e., a buyer) to take my offer. Because as seller my coins are in escrow, the buyer can feel confident sending fiat payment because if there is an issue, HodlHodl will handle the dispute resolution (because they have one of the keys in the 2 of 3 multisig contract).
If there is a Payment Method that you would like to use but it is not available, HodlHodl makes it easy to request it (from your account Dashboard), and they are fairly prompt at adding it if it is a reasonable request.
I suspect that now with LocalCryptos, Hodlhodl's largest competitor in the KYC-Free, non-custodial P2P trading platform arena, announcing an imminent shutdown that HodlHodl will gain a number of traders as a result.
HodlHodl has not yet opened access to the U.S. for the P2P trading (like they have for their Lend at Hodl Hodl service), so that is one reason HodlHodl might not be more widely known and used. But they've announced they do plan to at some point.
They've also been working on a new UX for P2P trading, I believe.
The other thing supposedly coming at some point is trades using LN (similar to how RoboSats supports trading using LN). But both support for U.S. and support for LN have been mentioned for a very long time, ... so I'ld not count on either of those occurring anytime time soon.
It would be good to see Hodlhodl usage gain, which would add liquidity. I suspect that they don't yet have the numbers to be the reason that Yadio has not yet added them to their Yadio Marketplace (a type of comparison tool).

HH is one of the few (or maybe the only) P2P Bitcoin exchange/s that doesn't discriminate against Russian customers.
