It is wild to me that the Senate Dems are moving forward with the terrible terrible idea of forcing a Gov't shutdown. Over the last few days they have talked about how they don't really have any cards to play and if the shutdown occurs there is not a clean way out for them. Republicans have done this before and paid the price in elections so why on God's Green Earth the Dems are marching towards that.... wild wild move.

Hell there was even a Dem vote for the House bill last night so it can be claimed to be "bipartisan" which only further dunks on the Dems. I hope they allow for the Cloture vote so that they can vote against the bill itself. Republicans in the Senate have done this before for the Dems because while the government might close DOGE and Elon wont be and so the cuts will only accelerate.
