Oftentimes, Alaska is excluded from these rankings, because anything done in Alaska is so much deadlier than normal that the chart basically just becomes "Jobs Done in Alaska".
Based on these bars, my guess is that Alaska was left in.

Management, business and financial operations would be much higher if deaths induced by stress and mental health issues were included.

I’ve heard dentists have the highest rate of suicide among some category. I guess this probably falls into the bucket @grayruby mentioned related to mental health issues. But would dentistry be categorized as “Professional”?

I saw a chart quite a few years ago where this was broken out quite a bit more.
If I remember right, the most dangerous profession was convenience store clerk, and next was taxi driver.
