Given I work on AI policy and helped write the task force report this whole idea of watermarking doesn’t work and the companies have admitted it. AI scraps the Meta data ignoring the water marks and has been shown to be able to slap identical ones on there. People are not going to go into an images data every time they see something.
The only “solution” and it sucks at the moment is creating a proof of truth and sticking it on a blockchain.
