Umm, coconut milk has always been called "coconut milk". That's not some new vegan marketing gimmick.
Because there is a linguistic exception doesnt make the nut sap milk..
You must be the ultimate authority on what words mean, because both common usage and most dictionaries include things like coconut milk in the definition.
You keep using the exception..

Why do you call it "nut sap", if you care so much about what words mean? None of these are saps and some are not nuts.
