Americans' financial fragility and emergency expenses The likelihood that people in the U.S. could come up with $2,000 to cover an unexpected need is at its lowest point since the survey question began.
I hope no Bitcoiner is under the bracket of 37.33% who can't afford an unexpected emergency need.
Or,
It's totally different when Bitcoiners avoid emergency/emergencies to stack more and more sats.
However for those who are no Bitcoiners, sh*tcoiners, normies, below average, the poor, the number people can afford an emergency need is still pretty much on the higher side.
Considering india it's around 80% people who can only rely on to mortagage something when an unexpected need rises. This is so because India's 95% population uninsured, 73% lack health coverage
Not very promising, right? No, actually Indians only buy insurance when they are compelled to buy. Haha. That's so because instead of paying a big portion of income to insurance companies, Indians generally like buying Gold which covers them better. Smart 🤓 India.
But one thing can't be ignored that Indians have a very large holdings of gold as compared to their central bank, RBI. Many mandirs (Temples) in India are far richer than RBI in terms of gold. While Indians swallow as much as 800 tons of gold per year excluding the jwellery exports.
(Not so much. They still think Bitcoin a Crime!)
But US people know Bitcoin, love it and understand it. Why not all people there stop saving for emergency funds and paying insurance, buy Bitcoin (or Gold, still better than fiat!).
