More files from the Kennedy dossier released – another 13,700 pages in 161 files

One of the files reveals that CIA counterintelligence chief James Angleton helped Israel acquire nuclear weapons, violating Kennedy's orders.

The new batch of documents from the Kennedy dossier contains information about the CIA's global "covert action programs."

The CIA operated essentially all over the world to combat Soviet influence.

The documents talk about a briefing with CIA Director Dulles, who informed the board that the CIA controlled Radio Free Europe, the Afro-American Institute, and “various other labor and youth groups.” The CIA controlled the media and groups like the Black Panthers to hold protests. Kennedy declared that the CIA's covert operations programs were outside the purported primary mission of the CIA to gather intelligence and were not worth the taxpayers' money. Kennedy attempted to stop the CIA's criminal schemes.
