Yes, you're right. I see why they are now turning towards bolstering defense. They're now seeing an opportunity with US not going to be supplier of war machines to Ukraine. But I don't think they'll be successful because before they'll even notice, the war will be over in Ukraine.

The media and ruling class much prefer war to peace...as long as it's not happening where they live.
