I just dropped in on my favorite science fiction bookstore and picked up a few books to fill out various sagas that I have holes in. Since I only buy used paperbacks, I only found a few from the Dune saga. I have made up a wishlist too send them so they can pick books out of their stream as they come in. In a few months, I hope to fill out all of the Dune universe books.
That's one of the hobbies I enjoy as well. Once we're settled in for the long run somewhere, I'm going to get back to it.

The only problem is that my wife complains about where to put the books. Stacks here and stacks there don’t seem to make her feel good. Then I get to hear about it, too. A while ago, we went to a book sale fundraiser where all the books were donated and selling for a song and a dance, so I bought a box full. I haven’t gotten to as many as I would have liked to, yet.

When I was in college there were so many great cheap books at yard sales and at the local thrift store. Benefit of a college town around a tech school.

I cannot seem to find that kind of books, anymore. The yard and garage sales seem bereft of books, lately. I have seen some at Estate sales, though. I think book people are becoming fewer and fewer. I never seem to see people reading books while sitting around, or waiting for someone. They are always at their devices, cricking their necks.
