I feel ya with the sleeping in their own bed thing. My spot in the bed in often occupied by the 6 year old and the dog. Hard knock life for me.
Glad the little one and the pooch are doing well.
When my kids were younger, they all used to love to crowd onto our bed and sleep with us. I was left with maybe about 1 foot of room on the to sleep on many nights. Eventually, I got pissed off and sent them all back to their bedrooms. Life became much better ever since, haha.

She's eager to have a slumber party with the dog (as are we), but the one attempt so far was a spectacular fail. She just couldn't calm down and the dog was terrified being trapped in a room with a wild five year old.
