Growing up in a village, having a proper football ground was a luxury we could only dream of. We played on barren fields, dusty roads, riverbanks, or any open space where we could hit the ball. There used to be tournaments between nearby villages, not for a big prize or trophy, but those matches meant everything to us back then.
The uneven ground, random obstacles, and unexpected bounces made the game even more exciting. Corner kicks were always a challenge, hitting from weird angles, dodging spectators sitting on the sidelines, and making sure the ball didn't end up hitting someone's head! But that was the beauty of village football. Pure, raw, and filled with passion.
No perfect ground, just the love for the game and the joy of playing with friends. These memories stay with us forever!

Reading the title I thought you maybe meant being put through a table in the parking lot at Highmark Stadium.
Wrong football. My bad.
