The article says
"Absorbency is one of the most important qualities of a good towel, but achieving the perfect balance between thickness and performance can be challenging," Towel Hub explains. "The woven strip helps maintain an even structure, preventing the edges from becoming too bulky. This ensures that the towel remains soft, lightweight, and easy to handle, making it more efficient for drying both the body and surfaces."
But I'm really sure what that means. What do they mean with "becoming too bulky" and how does the woven strip prevent that? Anyone?
Not every towel has them. I imagine they're helpful if you need to tie the towel in a knot for whatever reason.
Also, fun to learn that there's a website called Towel Hub

I never knew that one! I like to use the thin, scratchy luffa towel that you can wring out as often as needed and use as a wash towel, too. All the tools in one! :)
