During his time at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), Grusch gained access to information about UAP programs that few others have seen. From 2019 to 2021, he served as the NRO representative to the UAP Task Force, reviewing classified reports of unexplained aerial encounters across military branches.
Grusch later co-led UAP analysis at the NGA and played a key role in drafting UAP reporting provisions for the National Defense Authorization Act of 2023.
