would be cool if upload to SN was an option where this CDN cost could be paid from my SN wallet

You mean this?
It has a 50MB limit per upload though. But 250MB are free per day.

I have this crazy idea to try and integrate with common restaurant pos systems and let people pay with lightning and the business gets fiat. I think there are already companies doing this but not sure of their adoption or success. The hard part is i'm pretty sure that makes me a money transmitter and I need some stupid licence from the state of texas. Im tempted to just do it™ but my wife and son would not be pleased if I turned out to be the next Ross Ulbricht

i would love to leave it in btc and not tell anyone but practically for businesses I don't see them wanting to. They might have some option to only convert back a percentage but until they can pay their employees, permits and taxes in btc there needs to be some converted back. I think this helps drive adoption it doesn't hurt it. I live in houston and I see 5 places that accept btc. I would love for our bitcoin meetup to be able to be hosted at a place where we could pay in sats

you will remember my words...

I decided to onboard on Bitcoin only those merchants that want to fuck the system not to sustain it. So I always start from there to approach them.
