Great talk, but Gigi - your explanation of Bitcoin was tough :D
Happy to improve if you have any suggestions. I was trying to explain it with Peterson's audience in mind.

You did great overall and I wouldn't do any better.
Why I think it was tough, is because you essentially managed to explain physical scarcity, digital scarcity (can't copy), open source (can copy everything in bitcoin), public ledger (nothing is encrypted in bitcoin), encryption (signatures), speech, forging gold, double-spend problem, probabilistic systems, blockchain verification, decentralization, game theory, asymmetric/private-key cryptography (+heat death of the universe),
... in a single sentence.
And that may have been tough for the listeners (Jordan was like "well, can you get extremely simple and describe what bitcoin is?"). I would have to guess, but I would say that his audience may not have enough of CS background to grok this much this fast. After Jordan asked, you explained it much more simply, so that was great. Sometimes less is more. ;)

Ha! Fair. I'm not great at dumbing down things I guess, since I want to remain accurate - which is tough. In any case, thanks for the feedback! <3
