@stevenroose and the Ark team are really putting great effort on bringing transactions off-chain via PTLCs (Point Time-Locked Contracts) and Schnorr signatures, obscuring payment details and batching settlements on-chain masking individual activity in the name of ~privacy.

Compared with the Lightning Network, Ark entirely eliminates channel management. Can we, plebs, maybe one day, send/receive funds instantly without pre-funding channels or worrying about inbound liquidity?
