The short documentary, “A Runner’s High”, follows Kallup McCoy, an Indigenous endurance athlete who battles a crippling drug addiction, multiple suicide attempts and jail time. After turning his life around he sets out to run the Trail of Tears in its entirety to honor his ancestors.
I thought it was going to be about node runners.

I read a runners world article once that 90% of ultramarathoners are recovered drug addicts or alcoholics. My dad is one. Was an alcoholic and has run 230 marathons and 50 ultras

Takes something else to do those huge runs! Surely better then the substance abuse?
