Its a shame that Dalio, like Buffett, still seems not to be willing to integrate Bitcoin as a global reserve asset and potential monetary system in his great analysis. BTC could give a different spin to the next credit cycle by demonetising the motors of the wheel by fighting the reflation of all asset classes. Nobody seems to have a deflationary economy in the books, but it seems inevitable to thrive tech adoption faster and socially more equal.

Oh miss me with that negativity and doomerism. These people have been parroting this bullshit since forever and it never turned out to be true.

While I of course hope that we will not slip into Stage 6 and all-out war, I think it is my responsibility to make you aware of where I believe we are in these cycles (i.e., in late Stage 5, close to Stage 6) and what Stage 6 has typically looked like.
You are free to share your interpretation of what you think the future will look like, but the author's interpretation of past cycles and the likelihood of them repeating going forward are pretty compelling, especially as they match up fairly well with what can be observed by simply looking out the window.

Dalio trying to ride on popular coat-tails of 4th turning narrative.

That was along the lines of what I was thinking. But his view contrasts in some really important areas that aren't addressed (at least not as much) in 4th turning.

The world is more complex than that. It's not a simple loop that keeps repeating.
