As mentioned previously, there will be three hosting countries in the 2026 World Cup.

The vast majorities of venues will be in the US. 11 cities across the nation will watch matches. The final match will be played at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Other cities hosting matches will be Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco.

I think that you may find interesting that all eleven venues are home for a NFL team.

Apart from matches in the initial grooup phase, last 32 and last 16 rounds, the entire QFs, SFs and Final will be played in the US.

Three cities will host some matches including Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey. The opening game will be played at the legendary Azteca Stadium on June 11th 2026. This was the place where two World Cup finals were played in 1970 and 1986.

Ten matches of the initial group phase will be held in Mexico. Two matches in the last 32 round and one in the last 16 round will also be played in Mexico.

Finally, two cities will be hosting matches in Canada: Toronto and Vancouver. First match will be played in Toronto on June 12th 2026.

Similarly to Mexico, ten matches will be played during the initial group phase. Then two matches in the last 32 round and one in the last 16 round will be played in Canada.
