I remember reading that Block was supposed to release a mining chip in mid 2025. The timing couldn't be better in the midst of these tariffs.
I know Trump's tariffs on Taiwan don't apply to chips(yet), but this still could be a big deal.

So it turns out it was talked about in the Feb company earnings call. This does follow the letter to shareholders in Nov about Block dialing back its investment in Tidal and TBD (its decentralized web project)

It is kinda weird that with all that technology we have no one cloned that chip yet (Taiwan ASIC that is)... seems strange, don't ya think?
