I have heard a ton of reasons that are across the spectrum… I think personally he's doing this so people don't flipout even more at him. China is pissed and causing issues with the whole deal and I know a number of companies have been exploring a bid but something of TikToks size and success is going to be really expensive and those types of things take time and resources and 75 days isn't enough.
I hope to see some sort of announcement of a couple specific groups being in close negotiations and the government vetting those because there will be monopoly lawsuits I am sure
