Thanks so much for this! I’ve thought many of the same things for a while.

I’ve thought something very similar but never thought about your exact hypothesis. So my interpretation of revolution 13 is that this world as we know it will end in cbcd and then everything will be burned. Like you, I’ve thought it important to fight for Bitcoin as a partially and/or temporarily fulfilled justice mission the same way God calls us to fight for other justice that won’t ever be perfect here on earth. I never actually had a category for Bitcoin coming back AFTER revelation 12 and 13 plays out. I can totally imagine it playing out that way though now that you mention it! All we can know is that the cbdcs WILL win (and that won’t be the worst of it) temporarily at some point for sure.

I was already a believer when I discovered bitcoin, so it was definitely the rare, “come for the revolution,” for me. Sadly, the struggle has become the occasional, “stay for the NGU.” Ultimately, and your post is a great reminder of this too, even the revolution can be an idol. I struggle with this a lot, and it’s sobering to think about how my kids are affected by this too. I want them to be passionate about justice and freedom, but I want them to know Jesus most of all.
