Starting to feel better on my feet. Almost rolled my ankle but got it sorted. Should be better after I’m finished moving house!
How’s your week going?

Still working on RUNSTR
Current version
https://github.com/HealthNoteLabs/Runstr/releases/tag/feed-0.1.0-20250330-161335
It'll be on zap.store before the end of the week.
The 0.3.0-alpha release will contain
Other than that I'll try to hit a good distance run on Wednesday or Thursday.....although I should probably work on speed if I'm focusing on breaking 25min in the 5k.
Nice work mate! Don’t forget to push out a mile effort for the monthly challenge I think I’ll have a go next week
Will do!
I’ve been lifting instead of running lately but I support!!
Going for a 10k run later tonight when my kids attend art class. Will post the results after I'm done.
Slower than last week's 10k. Tummy wasn't feeling so well at the start of the run, got better as the run progressed. Also legs were still tired from Sunday's 36k and from today's day of work. Need to sleep earlier and rest better. Will try to push for a faster pace on the 5k later this Thursday or Friday.
Nice work. Look forward to see your Mile time in the April challenge
I'll probably run the mile later in the month when I taper before the race.
Look forward to seeing it
First run of the week
My week 30 mins today 2x800 with rec work out Wednesday 30 mins Friday
Keep up the good work!
Thanks was hard to get out this morning after two days of moving house
Moving is always tough on your schedule. Good for you for sticking to your run schedule.
I’d be lying if I didn’t multiple times think of turning the alarm off 😝
Haha I fully understand.
Looking to go back to gym this week
Seems like you picked up the pace on this one. Good job and keep it up!
Question what shoes are you running in? I’m running my easy runs in Nike Pegasus 35 turbos and my speed work in Nike flyknit zoom flys
@BitcoinIsTheFuture @User21000000 @gnilma @TheWildHustle @realBitcoinDog
I'm using some dusty old Adidas
I’ve probably run 75,000 miles in my life and I’d never recommend a pair to anyone. I’d recommend you go to your local running shoe store and have them video record you running. They will determine what “type” of foot striker you are. Recommend that style of shoe, have you try different brands of that style and see what feels best. For me I need “cushion” shoes and the ASICS Gel Cumulus work great for ME. I also rotate shoes to help the foam fully recover between uses. Good luck
I'm currently running in a pair of Asics GT1000. I've been wearing Asics for runs since 2017. I like them and they work great for me.
Do you do all runs in the same shoes or do you rotate pairs?
I do all runs in the same shoes and do not rotate pairs. I only run in my running shoes though. I have another pair of cheaper running shoes that I wear for day to day walking and casual outings.
Ok took a week off from a fast mile to do a 5k workout. Negative split it!
Speedy as usual. Awesome work!
Thanks, the accountability here helps!
Nice work! Great run!
Thanks, legs feel pretty good after. The creatine helps the old man recovery!
@Workit_LN hey team when’s the next challenge coming up I see the 50k buy in one got removed?
Hey! Yes, new ones will be published in a day or two. Participants have been refunded from the cancelled challenges.
