If that’s true, I think him being held up as ubersmart bitcoin visionary is backwards. All he really holds are IOUs. If he wants to be some kind of leader, lead a push for more self-custody. Use your platform to explain how it’s simple and any adult can do it. And there are options out there if need help.

Don’t support a custodian/exchange. Burn them to the ground. We need to cut out all the middle-men attacks on our money.

they use Coinbase Custody, corporate entites can't self custody because of disclosures at least lawyer said that to me when I wanted to do it for my small business

public markets are a whole other beast sure. but then why isn’t he talking about the need to change those regs, why isn’t he encouraging people who can do it to self-custody - that’s the big lesson from this past week. take the money out of the hands of these middle-men who can’t be trusted

and lawyers are another group of MITM attack - do you want self sovereign money or not?
