I just wasted 1 hour trying to use ChatGPT help me understand the origin of some surprising behavior between two scripts. It's been surprisingly dense, forgetting things I had told it two prompts earlier, circular reasoning, etc. I pushed it too much this time...

ChatGPT sucks. Try a different model such as Claude or Grok.

Which model were you using? I've found o1 to be pretty decent actually

I did a vibe coding course, which uses Replit, and it looked pretty dope what it can do.
But haven't tried vibe coding myself and the reality of it may be quite different.

The funny thing about this video is that it's probably not that different from managing junior developers

With the money you save from AI you can buy many more drinks than that ;)

yeah i'm working towards never needing juniors again, agent based employees will replace most junior roles soon.
senior person + sufficiently good tooling to manage a decently sized team of AI employees is gonna soon be reality
