I've only been through Mississippi once, but I saw enough to rule it out as somewhere I'd ever move to. Still, I'm happy for them not having to pay income taxes to the state anymore.

If the tax discourages some driving, that would be a huge plus too. Mississippi has the worst driving I've ever seen.
