You don't seem to understand that you can run deepseek completely offline on your own hardware.

Yeah you seem to think that technology doesn’t need update and that programs are frequently written that transmit data when they are not supposed to. You put DeepSeek on your computer or phone and unless you never ever connect it to WiFi or cellular service again you are vulnerable.

There's no need to run untrusted code to use deepseek. You can use open source tools like ollama and simply use deepseek model weights.
