Right, I see what you mean! So, if an invoice goes through, that means there's a attached sending wallet. If it doesn't go through, then there's no wallet attached. Or even better, maybe there is, but it's just not working properly!

hmmm it's more like: when you turn on device sync, there's an encrypted blob on the server representing your sending creds. If that blob is there, we know you have a sending wallet attached.

I was just suggesting a way to make it work even if device sync isn't on!

Paying an invoice could mean you are scanning the QR is the main problem.
