Did you know that on 15 August 2010 two TXs that contained 184 BILLION bitcoins were created at block 74,638?
This exploited the lack of checks on the values of TX outputs.
A fix that enforced the check was deployed 5 hours after the discovery. The problematic TXs was removed.
