The All-Star game sucks, but it shouldn't. There are ways to make it something fans love, but players won't like it. The All-Star rosters should be entirely determined by fans.
The low ratings FUD is demonstrably not an issue for the TV partners, who just signed up to pay much more money per game. I don't understand why they don't care about it, but they clearly don't.
They tried out Rivalry Week this year. No one cared, because there are no rivalries anymore. I'm skeptical that they can just be manufactured.
True as a Knicks fan I hated the pacers haha now it’s more I hate players than actual teams.

I love hearing about random "Fuck Trae Young!" outbursts in NYC. That is the kind of sports rivalry I grew up with, but it's a rarity anymore.
