Given how tight the margins are and the struggle of keeping all Republicans in line in the House it is huge news that another Democrat is not only in ICU but is facing a long road to recovery that involves PT. While this development is another tragic incident as Rep. Norcross is just 66 years old and I do wish him a speedy recovery the subtraction of another Democrat from the equation is huge in helping push the package forward.

What that bill will look like and what we will see out of it is still very much up in the air but critical first steps have taken place for the negotiations to begin in just over a week.
