Every time I've tried this it's just taken my money and never matched me. Until there's a refund mechanism I won't be playing again.

That's fair, but he does warn on the site to not refresh or back out after having paid the invoice and personally I have always been matched if i waited long enough.

I didn't refresh the page or back out, waited for an hour, and even joined as another player three times in other browsers trying to match with myself.

If you tell me the username that you used and at what time you tried to join, I am happy to check the logs and refund you. The game is not perfect as of yet which I never claimed and these shortcomings I have disclosed in my post. I am sure there are bugs in the game that I intend to iron out over time but I am just one guy doing this in his free time because I am having fun building lightning applications. If you don’t want to risk some sats on experimental apps, that’s your right but I don’t feel that I misrepresented anything here and don’t get why I get my reputation downvotes because of that.

I recommend using hold invoices and not settling the invoice until matchmaking occurs.

Wow, glad I didn’t try. This sounds irresponsible.
@stacks you should feel more responsible when you start to accept other people’s money, even if it’s just a few sats and just a game.
