According to a new research survey from recruiting firm Robert Half, of nearly 2,000 professionals in the U.S, 36% report feeling burned out at work and 33% say they are more burned out now than one year ago.
Interesting!!
Forbes hasn't forgotton the buzz word -tariffs to include as a cause for the burnout. Other causes like inflation, workplace dynamics are reasonable but tariffs?? It don't stop there...
The toxic broader socio-political climate doesn’t help. A polarized society, coupled with global uncertainties, adds a layer of existential unease that seeps into daily life. Workers are navigating not just their jobs but a world that feels spinning out of control. For those in low-wage or less secure roles, these pressures are even more acute.
This conclusion is all in the article that makes some sense as it can be a spoonful of food for thought! Nothing much except the same old Forbes!
I don't understand what do the editors get paid for??
I wonder how many of the professionals surveyed either work for the government directly or government funded organizations.

I will say it’s my general feeling that staffers on both sides of Capitol Hill are burning out at a crazy rapid rate right now.
Our unease though boils down more to how much society hate us, how many protests we are having, security lapses that have occurred that could have been horrific, and crime in DC is going through cycles of extreme violence and “peace”.
